HOW WE WORK
A working relationship
built around the business.
Work with Accelyst through retained advisory, fractional executive leadership, defined projects or focused consulting. We agree on the level of involvement and who is accountable before starting.
FROM INTENT TO ACTION
How an engagement takes shape.
See the whole picture.
Understand what you want to achieve, speak with the people involved and examine the business context.
Set the right priorities.
Decide what to address first, who is responsible and how progress will be measured.
Put decisions into practice.
Work with your team to implement the agreed changes. Review results and adjust where needed.
01 / OUR CORE RELATIONSHIP
Retained executive advisory.
A monthly retainer gives leadership ongoing access to an advisor who knows the business. We examine decisions, revisit priorities and support agreed initiatives as circumstances change.
- Executive counsel on agreed business priorities
- A defined working cadence and decision agenda
- Oversight and coordination of agreed initiatives
- Regular review of priorities, responsibilities and progress
We agree on the scope, access, cadence and commercial terms. Project implementation, specialist services and other delivery costs are scoped explicitly where relevant.
02 / OPERATING LEADERSHIP
Fractional executive leadership.
A fractional executive takes an active leadership role in your business on a part-time basis. Accelyst provides experienced CXO leadership for a function or initiative, with a defined mandate and responsibility for the agreed work.
- A leadership mandate with specific responsibilities and decision authority
- An agreed time commitment, reporting line and operating schedule
- Team leadership and oversight of agreed initiatives
- Performance measures, review points and a transition plan
Retained advisory supports the people making decisions. Fractional leadership adds an executive responsible for leading an agreed part of the business. We define that distinction clearly in the engagement.
The role and time commitment reflect the leadership need. Legal and financial advice remain outside our services.
03 / A CLEAR SCOPE
Defined engagements.
A defined project has a specific scope, such as a market entry plan, product launch, website, Salesforce implementation or independent assessment.
- A clear statement of work and intended outcome
- Defined deliverables and acceptance criteria
- Milestones, dependencies and decision responsibilities
- Handover and any ongoing support agreed in advance
The scope sets out what Accelyst and your team will deliver. Salesforce work is handled entirely in-house; other projects may involve specialist providers.
04 / EXPERT INPUT
Focused consulting.
Experienced perspective on a contained issue, decision or opportunity. A useful way to establish direction before deciding whether broader work is needed.
- An agreed question or decision to address
- Preparation based on the information available
- A focused working session or advisory input
- Clear recommendations and practical next steps
A consultation can stand alone or provide the starting point for a defined engagement or retained relationship.
DELIVERY THAT FITS
Direct expertise.
The right people around the work.
All Salesforce work is delivered in-house. For other services, we deliver directly, engage specialists where needed and work with the teams and providers already supporting your business.
We agree on responsibilities and decision authority before delivery begins. The arrangement reflects the expertise, capacity and level of involvement the work needs.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Common questions.
What to expect from an engagement with Accelyst.
How does a retained partnership work?
A monthly retainer provides ongoing executive advice and support on agreed priorities. We define access, responsibilities and meeting frequency, then review the scope as needs change. A fractional executive role can be agreed where you need operating leadership.
Do you work directly or through other providers?
Salesforce consulting and implementation are delivered entirely in-house by Accelyst. For other services, we deliver directly, bring in specialists or work with your existing teams and vendors. We agree on who is responsible for each part of the work.
Can we start with a specific project or consultation?
Yes. You can start with a single consultation, an assessment or a defined project. We recommend a retainer when ongoing involvement would be useful.
Do you provide fractional executive leadership?
Yes. Accelyst provides fractional CXO leadership for an agreed function or initiative. The role includes defined responsibilities, decision authority, a time commitment and performance measures. This differs from advisory work, where the client's leadership team retains the operating role.
